Challenger-owned Kingdom Technologies joins the fray of local PC retailers
Owned by Challenger Ventures, the new PC retailer will make use of Challenger's physical stores and after-sales service to give itself a headstart.

There's a new entrant to the local PC retail market: Kingdom Technologies, a subsidiary of Challenge Ventures, the investment arm of Challenger Technologies. Yes, the same Challenger Technologies that has planted its technology retail stores in malls all across Singapore.
The brand is already retailing a few pre-built PCs named after royal titles from around the world, such as Shogun, Czar and Archduke, with prices ranging from the S$2,049 (S$2,299 SRP) Warchief PC to over S$10,000 for their highest-end model, the Beowulf. But with this launch, Kingdom is specifically promoting its Pharoah pre-built PC, part of its 'Powered by ASUS' lineup.
And powered by ASUS it is, as the PC is almost entirely running off of the tech company's range of sub-brand TUF and ROG gaming components:
- TUF B550M-PLUS (Wi-Fi) motherboard
- AMD Ryzen 5 5600X CPU
- ASUS Dual GeForce RTX 3060 V2 OC Edition 12GB
- ROG Strix 750G 750W PSU
- ASUS TUF GT301 Gaming Case
- ASUS TUF GAMING LC 240 ARGB AIO cooler
For the components that ASUS doesn't cover, there's the 16GB Corsair Vengeance RGB PRO memory and a 500GB Kingston KC2500 NVMe SSD.

Kingdom's launch will signify the entrance of a new challenger (pun intended) on the field, metaphorically and literally considering who it's owned by, and will join the ranks of companies such as Aftershock and Dreamcore. On the part of Challenger Technologies, it could signify some new ambitions to expand its reach and compete with local PC retailers, utilising its existing infrastructure of physical stores and customer service.
Indeed, Kingdom is already planning to showcase selected PCs at six selected Challenger stores (Ang Mo Kio Hub, JEM, NEX Serangoon, Tampines 1, Vivo City and Challenger's flagship store at Bugis Junction), and the company is also planning to draw some of Challenger's expertise for after-sales service in selected physical stores (the aforementioned stores, along with Causeway Point, Jurong Point and North Point).
Availability and pricing
The Pharoah is available now at Kingdom's website for a promotional price of S$2,499 until January 20 next year, after which it will cost S$2,799. If you're interested, Kingdom also has other PCs in its Powered by ASUS and Curated Series lineups, all going for promotional prices, and also offers a built-to-order PC service starting from S$2,129.
