As we have reported back in June at Computex 2013, OCZ will be refreshing its flagship Vector drive and the time has finally come.
The new drive is called, rather confusingly, the Vector 150 and will be using NAND memory based on the latest 19nm manufacturing process. The new 19nm NAND chips should offer better power efficiency and performance, but more importantly, will help to drive costs down in the long run.
The Vector 150 will continue to use OCZ's in-house developed Indilinx Barefoot 3 controller, offering up to 550MB/s and 530MB/s of sequential read and write speeds; as well as up to 100,000 IOPS and 95,000 IOPS of random read and write performance respectively.
The Vector 150 will be offered in 120B, 240GB and 480GB capacities, and in a 7mm-thick case.
