OCZ has just announced its new Vertex 450 Series SSDs. This new drive fits in between its high-end Vector and mainstream Agility drives and uses its in-house developed Indilinx Barefoot 3 M10 controller.
OCZ is introducing its new Vertex 450 Series SSD. The new Vertex 450 Series SSD uses OCZ's in-house developed Indilinx Barefoot 3 M10 Series controller and bridges the gap between its high-end Vector and mainstream Agility offerings. Additionally, the drives are fitted with the latest 20nm NAND chips.
In terms of performance, expect speeds of up to 540MB/s read, 530MB/s write, and 4K random write performance of up to 90,000 IOPS.
The new Vertex 450 Series SSDs will be available in 128GB, 256GB and 512GB capacities and will be backed by a 3-year warranty.
