Memory and storage specialists, Mushkin, has just announced its new 960GB Chronos SSD. At nearly 1TB, the new 960GB Chronos SSD has almost double the capacity that is normally found on most 2.5-inch form factor SSD. With that, Mushkin commented that "the much higher storage capacity, combined with the performance and reliability benefits of an SSD, make the 960GB Chronos(TM) an ideal choice for disk intensive applications like workstations and servers."
There's no word yet on performance, but if Mushkin's previous drives are anything to by, it shouldn't be a slouch. Also, there's no details on availability and pricing yet, but we will be sure to update this article once we do have any news.
