Hyper Announces the iStick, a USB Flash Drive for iOS Devices

HYPER by Sanho Corporation has just announced the launch of the iStick - the World's first USB flash drive that has an integrated Lightning connector for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch - via Kickstarter.

Ever wish you could just plug a thumbdrive in your iPad or iPhone without the need for iTunes, the internet, or iCloud? With Sanho Corporation’s iStick, now you can really just plug and go. Essentially a flash drive with both an Apple MFi certified Lightning connector and a regular USB connector, the iStick comes in capacities from 8GB up to 128GB so you can bring all the music or movies you want with you.

What's more, you can play these movies and music directly from the iStick (even if the formats aren’t natively supported by Apple) thanks to the included Music & Movie player, and back-ups of your contacts and media can easily be done through the iStick app.

If you’re interested in ordering an iStick, head over to their Kickstarter page.

Hyper expects the iStick to ship in August.
