ADATA has just released its newest consumer flagship SSD, the XPG SX8000.
The new XPG SX8000 support the fast PCIe 3.0 x4 interface and also NVMe protocol, which was developed expressly for SSDs. They will also be made available in the compact M.2 form factor.
In addition, the XPG SX8000 will be one of the latest drives to utilize 3D NAND technology. They will be powered by a Silicon SM2260 controller.
ADATA claims sequential read and write speeds of up to 2,400MB/s and 1000MB/s respectively. While random read and write performance is rated at 100k IOPS and 140k IOPS respectively.
The ADATA XPG SX8000 will be available in four capacities: 128GB, 256GB, 512GB and 1TB.
