TRENDnet Launches Extreme Performance AC1900 Wireless Router

Armed with a 1GHz processor and Gigabit Wireless AC networking speeds, the TEW-818DRU includes high power radio amplifiers for extended wireless coverage, and is designed to provide the optimum wireless experience in a busy, connected home.
It creates two extreme performance wireless networks: a 1.3Gbps Wireless AC network, to connect all Wireless AC devices over the fastest wireless speeds available today, and an extreme performance 60Mbps Wireless N band, to connect everyday wireless devices such as tablets, smart phones, and computers. Also, Beamforming technology directs the highest wireless signal strength to each user's specific location.
Offering one USB 2.0 port and a 5Gbps USB 3.0 port to network USB 3.0 storage devices and other peripherals, the wireless networks and management interface are pre-encrypted with unique passwords, eliminating the opportunity for hackers to access the device using unchanged default login credentials. Finally, a new management interface quickly provides users with key information in a visually intuitive format.
With a 3-year limited warranty, the TEW-818DRU is available from retailers and other TRENDnet partners for US$259.99 this February.
