FCC filing reveals some specs of the upcoming Google Nest router

Google's upcoming Nest router will come with Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth Low Energy (LE) and Thread mesh networking radios.

Several specs of Google's upcoming Nest WiFi router have been revealed by FCC filing. 

According to the new FCC filing, Google's new Nest WiFi router will have the model number A4R-G6ZUC, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth Low Energy (LE) and Thread mesh networking radios. The filing provides a breakdown of the 6 antennas on the new Nest Wi-Fi router:

  • 2 x 2.4GHz/5GHz dual band antennas for Bluetooth, Thread, 5GHz Wi-Fi Primary 
  • 2 x 5GHz Wi-Fi Diversity
  • 2 x 2.4GHz/6GHz dual band antennas for Wi-Fi

Google is expected to unveil the new Nest Wi-Fi router by the end of the year.
