Designed to improve the range and signal strength of an existing home network, it utilizes the 11AC Wi-Fi technology, and delivers speedy wireless speeds that's perfect for high-bandwidth activities like HD video streaming and online gaming. To eliminate Wi-Fi interference for faster and more reliable Internet, the Wireless AC1200 Range Extender also features dual-band technology, enabling users to perform simple Internet activities on the 2.4GHz band, and more demanding activities on the cleaner, interference-free 5GHz band.
Equipped with four Gigabit Ethernet ports providing wired speeds of up to 1Gbps, it features a simple one-button installation, so you need only press the WPS button on the existing router and then on the extender to sync and instantly increase the coverage of a wireless home network. Users whose routers do not have a WPS button can use a web browser or D-Link’s free QRS Mobile app for simple setup.
