The D-Link DCS-1130L Wireless N Internet Camera is available at a recommended retail price of S$269.

D-Link today announced the latest DHD-131 Wireless Display (WiDi) Adapter. One of the first devices in the market to feature Intel Wireless Display technology, which is a system for streaming high definition video content from a WiDi-enabled PC or laptop to a HDTV via the WiFi network, without the need for any cables.

WiDi streams HD content wirelessly via WiFi

Designed to connect to a high definition display without the need for any cables, the DHD-131 adapter plugs into the HDMI port of the display. Using a secure WiFi technology equipped with WPA/WPA2 security features, high definition content such as videos, movies and music is instantly streamed on the TV screen. Using H.264 compression technology, 1080p video is streamed at 30 frames per second.

Besides surfing the web and sending emails, data files such as photos that are stored in the laptop or storage devices can also be viewed. The DHD-131 also offers clone, extended desktop and remote flexible display options with multilingual support.

Availability

The D-Link DHD-131 is expected to be launched in Singapore in quarter three 2011.

D-Link has introduced the new DHP-1320 Wireless-N HomePlug AV Router with a wireless speed capability of up to 300Mbps. Along with a HomePlug AV data transmission speed of up to 200Mbps and three Fast Ethernet ports, the DHP- 1320 is specifically designed to provide and extend wireless Internet connection to all corners of the home, simply by tapping on to the existing electrical system.

Dual-mode operation for increased flexibility

Featuring a dual-mode operation, the DHP-1320 can be configured either as router or access point. In router mode, the DHP-1320 is connected to a cable or DSL modem to receive and share broadband Internet connection with multiple computers, game consoles or media players. In access point mode, the DHP-1320 creates a Wi-Fi connection based on the existing network, effectively extending the network to cover the blind spots.

Both modes offer comprehensive security features that prevents unauthorized access to the network, such as AES data encryption for protecting against intruder wire-tapping, WEP, WPA and WPA2 to ensure that data is securely transmitted wirelessly. Dual active firewalls (SPI and NAT) also help to guard against potential attacks originating from the Internet.

Innovative features to conserve power

Equipped with the innovative D-Link Green, the DHP-1320 has environmentally friendly features such as Wi-Fi Scheduling, PLC Power Saving and Power Saving by Link status. Wi-Fi Scheduling allows administrators to configure specific hours to power off the networking to save energy. By monitoring the link status of the devices, DHP-1320 will reduce the power usage of ports that are idle. Similarly, the router will shut down the HomePlug AV function when no Ethernet activity or wireless connection is detected.

Share your storage devices and printers with SharePort

Designed to handle bandwidth intensive applications such as HD video streaming, Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) calls and lag-free online gaming experiences, the DHP-1320 also features Shareport technology. This allows users to connect multifunctional printers to the USB port to share printing and scanning functions within the home. SharePort also supports external hard drives and flash storage for sharing files in the home network.

Price & Availability

The D-Link DHP-1320 Wireless-N HomePlug AV Router will be launched in the third quarter of 2011.

D-Link launched its latest DSL-2730U and DSL-2750U Asymmetrical Digital Subscriber Line 2+ (ADSL2+) Routers. Both versatile and high-speed routers support a download speed of up to 24Mbps for smooth media streaming as well as integrated firewall protection and Quality of Service (QoS) to establish a secure and high-speed link to the internet.

Backward compatible high speed wireless networking

Providing a high-performance wireless performance while sharing a broadband Internet connection with multiple computers, the DSL-2730U supports speeds of up to 150Mbps while the Wireless N DSL- 2750U is capable of providing speeds of up to 300Mbps.

Both backward compatible with previous generation Wireless-G devices, the DSL-2730U is designed for users who prefer a straight-forward no frills ADSL router. For more advanced users, the DSL-2750U router comes with a built-in USB port and is suitable for owners who prefer to have wireless access to their Network Attached Storage devices.

Firewall Protection & QoS

Equipped with advanced security features such as Stateful Packet Inspection (SPI) and Denial of Service (DoS), the DSL-2730U and DSL-2750U routers work to prevent unauthorised access from Internet intruders by inspecting the contents of incoming packets before they are allowed to pass through. For Quality of Service (QoS), both routers support multiple priority queues to enable a group of home or office users to experience the benefit of smooth network connection of inbound and outbound data without the concern of traffic congestion. This QoS support allows users to enjoy high ADSL transmission for applications such as Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP), streaming multimedia and online games over the Internet.

Availability

The D-Link DSL-2730U and DSL-2750U ADSL2+ Routers will be available at authorised retailers, resellers and distribution partners in quarter three 2011.
