Sony Announces Local Pricing for Vaio Fit E & Tap 11

Sony has announced the pricing of its latest Vaio offerings - the Vaio Fit E notebook with an upgraded Intel Core i5-4200U processor, and the Vaio Tap 11, the world's slimmest Windows Tablet PC to date.

Equipped with an Intel Haswell i5-4200U 1.6GHz processor with turbo boost up to 2.6GHz, the 15-inch Vaio Fit E comes in Black, White, and Pink, and sports the same audio technology as before. First announced at this year's IFA, the 9.9mm-thin Tap 11 can function as a conventional notebook, and features the same Omnibalance design as the Xperia Z and Z1 smartphones, with TRILUMINOS Display for mobile, and ClearAudio+ mode.

Both devices are now available for purchase. As part of the Sony Days 2013 promotion, consumers who purchase the VAIO Fit E before and on 1 January 2014 will receive a Walkman NWZ-W274S for free.
