The Onda oBook 11 Pro is an unabashed knockoff of the Microsoft Surface Book
As far as copies go, this one is pretty brazen. The Onda oBook 11 Pro rips off just about everything about the Surface Book's distinctive appearance. The only difference is that it features weaker hardware, and its build quality is anyone's guess.

If you’re a technology company, how do you know that you’ve made a good product? Perhaps when a Chinese company makes an identical copy, because imitation is the best form of flattery, right? Whatever the case, Chinese manufacturer Onda has revealed the oBook 11 Pro, which looks much like Microsoft’s very own Surface Book. The screen can even be detached from the keyboard, just like the original.
Yup, that's the hinge from the Surface Book alright.
But that’s about where the similarities end. When it comes to the actual hardware, the oBook 11 Pro features a smaller 11.6-inch Full HD display, a middling Intel Core m3-6Y30 processor, 4GB of RAM, and just 64GB of storage. That aside, the most pressing issue will probably be the build quality, and there’s no way to tell how good – or bad – the oBook really is until you order it.
At any rate, the oBook 11 Pro is probably testament to the excellence of the Surface Book’s design. Unless their name is Apple, most companies usually don’t get to experience having their products copied wholesale.
