The Microsoft Surface Neo.
The Microsoft Surface Neo may not hit retail shelves during the holiday season at the end of the year.
A source familiar with the matter told CNBC that several of Microsoft's plans for 2020 have changed due to the global Covid-19 outbreak. This included delaying the launch of the Surface Neo, pausing the development of Windows 10X, and getting it to work on single-screen devices first.
ZDNet also reported the same news and added that the launch of the Android-powered Surface Duo remains on track.
Microsoft unveiled the Surface Neo and Surface Duo in October last year. The Surface Neo has two displays held together by an intricate 360-degree hinge, and can be used in multiple ways. The Surface Duo is a dual-screen phone that runs on some form of Android that is heavily skinned to look like Microsoft.
