Microsoft has expanded its line-up of Surface devices with 1TB Surface Pro 4 and Surface Book models. The new flagship models will ship with 1TB of SSD storage, an Intel Core i7 processor, and 16GB of RAM.

Unfortunately, the new Surface Pro 4 and Surface Book are currently only available in the US and Canada, and there’s no news if and when Microsoft will bring them to our shores. As expected, the hefty amount of SSD storage doesn’t come cheap either – the 1TB Surface Pro 4 is going for US$2,699, while the Surface Book is priced at US$3,199.

On top of that, Microsoft also introduced a gold version of the excellent Surface Pen that comes bundled with the Surface Pro 4. The gold Surface Pen is already available to buy in Canada, Denmark, Finland, Italy, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, and the US. That’s great news for customers in those countries who like their stuff shiny. For local customers, not so much.
