Mark Gurman of Bloomberg claims in his latest newsletter that Apple has an internal goal of launching the M2 Pro and M2 Max MacBook Pros as early as this fall or between fall 2022 and spring 2023. Given the current supply chain issues, Gurman says it is hard to guess when these devices will be available for purchase.

Gurman shared weeks ago on the M2 roadmap for the Mac. He believes they are "likely to come in much quicker succession than the M1-based Macs did." Apple announced the 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro with the M1 Pro and M1 Max chips in October 2021.
