The Mobile World Congress isn’t just completely about smartphones, as notebook manufacturers like Lenovo are also leveraging on the four-day long extravaganza to showcase their latest products – the Yoga 520 and Yoga 720.

Specification wise, the Yoga 520 can be had with either a 14-inch 720p (1,366 x 768) or a Full HD (1,920 x 1080) touch display, a 7th generation Intel Core i7 processor, a NVIDIA GeForce 940MX GPU, up to 16GB of DDR4 RAM, and a storage combo that comprises a 512GB PCIe SSD and a 1TB HDD. The Yoga 520 comes with other goodies as well, such as Harman speakers, an optional Lenovo Active Pen and a fingerprint scanner for Windows Hello.

Fortunately, the Yoga 520 has a decent amount of connectivity ports, too, including a USB Type-C port, two USB 3.0 ports, an RJ45 port, a HDMI port, an audio jack, and a 4-in-1 card reader. Lenovo says that the Yoga 520 equipped with a Full HD display should be able to get up to 10 hours of battery life from its 52.5WHr polymer battery.

The Yoga 520 (14-inch) will be retailing in the US starting at US$800 in May 2017.

Next, we have the 1.3kg-light and 14.3mm-thin Yoga 720, which is available with a 13.3-inch or 15.6-inch Full HD or UHD IPS touchscreen. Both Yoga 720 variants will be powered by a 7th generation Intel Core i7 processor, and will have up to 16GB of DDR4 RAM, in addition to a 1TB PCIe SSD. They will also have JBL speakers with Dolby Audio Premium technology, an optional Lenovo Active Pen, and a backlit keyboard.

Their graphics capabilities are a little different, however – the 13.3-inch Yoga 720 will have an integrated Intel HD Graphics 620 GPU, while the 15.6-inch variant will have a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 instead.

The same goes for their connectivity ports as well. The 13.3-inch Yoga 720 has two USB Type-C ports, one USB 3.0 port and an audio combo jack, while the 15.6-inch model has a 1 USB Type-C port, two USB 3.0 ports, and an audio combo jack. Strangely enough, neither models have RJ45 ports.

The Yoga 720 (13-inch) will have a starting price of US$860 and will be available for purchase beginning April 2017, while the Yoga 720 (15-inch) starts at US$1,100.
