Lenovo has announced the launch of the updated ThinkPad Z13 Gen 2, Z16 Gen 2, IdeaPad Duet 3i, and IdeaPad Slim 3 Chromebook at MWC 2023.

The company said that for the ThinkPad portfolio, it focused on improvements in system performance, increased use of more sustainable materials, and continued enhancements to the user experience.
The ThinkPad Z13 Gen 2 and ThinkPad Z16 Gen 2 are powered by the latest AMD Ryzen 7000 Series Processors, integrated AMD Radeon 700M Series Graphics, Windows 11, up to 64GB of memory, and up to a 2TB PCIe SSD for storage.
Fast and reliable Wi-Fi 6E means the communications bar with an FHD camera and Dolby Voice-enabled microphones to deliver a premium audio-visual experience for users who use the devices for work and collaboration.
A large haptic touchpad sits alongside the iconic TrackPoint nipple to produce comfortable and accurate input whenever and where it’s needed. Double-tapping the latter opens a TrackPoint Quick Menu which displays four menu cards. These menu cards can now be customised based on user preference from a list of options including changing the camera and microphone functionality, but can now also quickly configure select battery settings and preferred audio device settings such as Bluetooth or built-in speakers.

They retain a sleek thin and light form factor with ultra-narrow bezels, but the ThinkPad Z13 Gen 2 comes with an optional new natural fibre-reinforced material bonded to the 75% recycled aluminium top cover. This woven Flax material is made from 100% agricultural products collected by harvesting flax plant fibres.

This latest generation of the IdeaPad Duet 3i features the now familiar touchscreen with a detachable keyboard. But this slightly larger 11.5-inch model has a 2K touchscreen display with 100% DCI-P3 for a vibrant colour gamut, and 400 nits of brightness.
The IdeaPad Duet 3i is lightweight, slim at just 8.95mm and converts easily between laptop, tablet, and pen modes. It is powered by the latest Intel N-series Processor, supports Wi-Fi 6, and has up to 8.5 hours of battery life with Rapid Charge Boost giving an additional two hours of use from a short 15-minute charge.

For those looking for something different, there is the IdeaPad Slim 3 Chromebook. This 14-inch laptop is available with an FHD IPS touchscreen, is thin and light, weighing just 1.3kg, and offers an all-day battery spanning up to 13.5 hours, Wi-Fi 6 connectivity, and is powered by a MediaTek Kompanio 500 Series processor.
It also comes with front-facing speakers tuned by Waves MaxxAudio, an optional FHD webcam with a physical shutter, and a dedicated mute key.
Pricing and Availability
The ThinkPad Z13 Gen 2 will be available from July 2023 with prices expected to start from €1649 while the ThinkPad Z16 Gen 2 will be available a month later in August 2023 with prices starting from €2249.
The IdeaPad Duet 3i and IdeaPad Slim 3 Chromebook will be available from June and May 2023 with prices starting from €449 and €349 respectively.
