Power users now have another option for use in Lenovo’s new ThinkPad X1 Extreme Gen 4.
One change noticeable from the Gen 3 is that it now has a 16-inch display with a 16:10 aspect ratio (Gen 3 had a 15.6-inch display with a 16:9 aspect ratio). Users of the Gen 4 have the option of swapping the display from the standard FHD to one with 600 nits of brightness and 4K resolution featuring Dolby Vision HDR and low blue light technology.
It is powered by Intel’s latest 11th Gen processors, up to a Core i9 H-Series chip with vPro. It can also be configured with up to an Nvidia GeForce RTX 3080, 64GB of RAM, two 2TB SSDs, a 90Wh battery for 10 hours of use, and optional 5G support.

With the dedicated graphics card, entertainment and gaming are further enhanced with a Dolby Atmos Speaker System for crystal clear sound whether watching streaming content or playing games.
The integrated camera in the new Gen 4 is improved over the previous model as it now an FHD or FHD Infrared webcam for improved video conferencing quality, that still comes with a physical camera shutter. Far-field microphones pick up every sound so that the user is clearly heard when on a video call.
Security isn’t an afterthought with a fingerprint reader integrated into the power button for easier sign-in through Windows Hello.
Products like these are the reason why Lenovo was crowned as the Best Business Notebook Brand in our Tech Awards 2021 and even nabbed our Editor's Choice Innovation Award.
