Lenovo Singapore is partnering with *SCAPE and the Institute of Technical Education (ITE) to promote sustainability through their Refresh & Reboot: Laptop Care Campaign. The campaign is part of the company’s annual Lenovo Love On Month of Service (LMOS), which focuses on giving back to the community through various projects.

From now till 27 September and at locations like *SCAPE, ITE College East, and 111 Somerset, the campaign encourages the public to bring their laptops and other electronic devices for free cleaning. Along with the Lenovo Sustainability Lab, the campaign also aims to teach visitors how to keep their devices in good condition and help them last longer. This is especially relevant as electronic waste continues to grow, and keeping devices functional for longer can help reduce its impact.

Additionally, Lenovo is also collaborating with Nanyang Tech Pte Ltd to offer device cleaning services to their employees and to promote the importance of maintaining a clean digital workspace, keeping their laptops and devices free from harmful pathogens – particularly in today’s health-conscious environment.

In addition to device care, the campaign is encouraging people to donate their old laptops. These donations can help those in need gain access to technology, closing the digital divide in the process. It’s also a great way to keep perfectly usable devices out of landfills.

Refresh & Reboot: Laptop Care campaign is unabashedly a Lenovo branding campaign, but it’s also a great reminder that sustainability often starts with simple, everyday actions – like learning and taking better care of the devices we rely on.
