Intel mistakenly posted the details of its 9th generation Intel Core H-series mobile processors in an online PDF file. It was removed soon after the chipmaker realized its mistake. The lineup comprises six mobile CPUs from the H-series; i.e., there will be two Core i9 models, two Core i7 CPUs, and a pair of Intel Core i5 ones. All SKUs will use the same 14nm++ node, just like their desktop brethens.
Model | Cores/Threads | Turbo clock | IGPU |
Core i9-9980HK | 6/12 | 5.0GHz | UHD 630 |
Core i9-9880H | 6/12 | 4.8GHz | UHD 630 |
Core i7-9850H | 6/12 | 4.6GHz | UHD 630 |
Core i7-9750H | 6/12 | 4.5GHz | UHD 630 |
Core i5-9400H | 4/8 | 4.3GHz | UHD 630 |
Core i5-9300H | 4/8 | 4.1GHz | UHD 630 |
The H-series chips are often found in the high-end notebooks while the U-series are intended for the mainstream notebook market segment. Only the Intel Core i9-9980HK mobile processor has an unlocked multipler for overclocking. They all feature the Intel UHD Graphics 630 integrated solution, and come with support for DDR4-2666 RAM.
