Dell's new commercial lineup aims to help professionals stay productive anywhere in the world

Apart from its consumer range, Dell Technologies also updated its commercial lineup with new Latitude notebooks, Precision workstations and OptiPlex All-In-Ones.

Dell's commercial lineup aims to target remote workers as well as IT departments with management tools, which is rather relevant in today's circumstances. Interestingly, the Latitude series now includes Chrome OS as an option, apart from Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools for management, the latest 10th Gen Intel vPro processors, productivity tools, and Unified Workspace.

Much of the Latitude family is 2-in-1 convertible as an option and maximizes screen size in a smaller size. For instance, the Latitude 9510 has notebook or 2-in-1 form factors, with a 15-inch screen in a 14-inch frame. A bevy of ports, aluminum frame, and Wi-Fi 6 and 4G and 5G connectivity gives remote workers multiple options. The Latitude 9510 falls under Intel's Project Athena program.

Software is also a key part of the lineup. For example, professionals can work smarter with Dell Optimizer, the automated Artificial Intelligence (AI)-based optimisation technology. The built-in software learns how each person works and adapts to their behaviour to help them focus on the tasks that matter most, working behind the scenes to improve overall application performance, enable faster log-in and secure lock outs, eliminate echoes and reduce background noise on conference calls; and even extend battery run time.

The Precision lineup also gets its biggest overhaul since 2013 with features geared to remote work. Targeted at creators and professionals, the Dell Precision 5550 and 5750 are the "world's smallest and thinnest 15-inch and 17-inch mobile workstations" according to Dell. The all-new Precision 5750 is also VR/AR and AI-Ready to handle fast rendering, detailed visualisations and complex simulations.

The OptiPlex 7780 all-in-one is a 27-inch desktop that has up to Intel 10th Gen i9 processors and collaboration and audio enhancements as well as a tool-less design.
