Brief Hands On with the MSI Slider S20
We had a quick hands on with the MSI Slider S20, a convertible hybrid tablet packed with its own keyboard. The MSI Slider is powered by Windows 8 and features more connectivity ports than most tablets. In fact, we are tempted to label it as an ultrabook-hybrid with a tablet mode.

The MSI Slider S20 on display at Computex 2012. The final product will feature third generation Intel Core i-Series CPUs. We failed to get confirmation on the exact CPU specification for this demonstration set.
The 11.6-inch multi-touch screen is glossy and picked up a fair bit of fingerprints like any glossy glass touchscreen; hence, a screen protector is a must for this device. The chiclet keyboard was a little narrow but its keys have a nice tactile response. It had little flex as we pushed down hard on the keys to test its build.
Understandably, there is little real estate for the keys of the keyboard as they need to be hidden by the screen when the Slider S20 slips into tablet mode. Do pack a wrist guard for extensive use at the keyboard.

The network port on the left side of the Slider S20. The Slider S20 has Bluetooth 4.0 and Wi-Fi connectivity; however, there was on Internet connectivity at the booth.
The HDMI port is next to the cable lock. One of its USB 3.0 ports is covered by the lock. We also see an audio out port next to its second USB 3.0 port.
