First revealed during ASUS's rush of announcements at CES, the Zenbook A14 stood out as a new entry into the company's Zenbook lineup. Much of the reveal centred on the Zenbook A14's portability, with it being touted as the lightest Copilot+ PC at the time of its announcement.
A month after CES, we finally have local availability details as well as the pricing from ASUS. The Zenbook A14 starts at S$1,699, in two different colourways and two CPU options.

As a quick reminder of what ASUS is pitching with the Zenbook A14. To start, the company says that the notebook weighs only 0.98kg, partially due to ASUS's lightweight 'Ceraluminum' material. Despite the weight, ASUS says the material is also durable and has survived a gamut of scratch and resistance tests.
It relies on Qualcomm's Snapdragon X series offerings rather than Intel or AMD. The base version uses an 8-core Snapdragon X (X1-26-100) processor that was also unveiled at CES this year, while the pricier variant comes with a more powerful 12-core Snapdragon X Elite (X1E 78 100). Both processors come with 45 TOPS of AI performance, and this is what drives the Zenbook A14 as a Copilot+ PC.
In addition to that, ASUS also boasts of greater battery life than you would expect in a product of this class, with a 70Wh battery that it says can provide up to 32 hours of video playback time, pairing this with a 14-inch 16:10 FHD OLED display with 600 nits of brightness. The Snapdragon X variant comes with 16GB of LPDDR5x memory, while the Snapdragon X Elite variant comes with 32GB of LPDDR5X memory. Both versions also come with a 1TB NVMe SSD.
On paper, the Zenbook A14 looks like an excellent option for users who need a light and long-lasting notebook and are comfortable with making the switch to an ARM-based processor.
Pricing and availability
The Zenbook A14 starts at S$1,699 for the Snapdragon X-version laptops, which come in both Iceland Gray and Zabriskie Beige colourways. The Snapdragon X Elite Zenbook A14 will go for S$2,199, and is only available in Iceland Gray.
