Unless you’re intentionally trying to strengthen the muscles of your upper back and shoulders during your daily commute to work, it probably wouldn’t be such a wise idea to invest in a gaming notebook, due to their tendency of being big and cumbersome.
You would, on the other hand, get something like the ASUSPro B9440 – otherwise known as the lightest 14-inch business notebook in the world, according to ASUS.
With a weight of only 1.04kg, you really shouldn’t have any problems carrying the B9440 around, even if it was for an entire day. The B9440 manages to keep its weight in check thanks to its magnesium alloy chassis that meets the MIL-STD 810G standard for durability.
Despite its thinness, the B9440 still manages to pack some pretty decent hardware, including a Full HD (1,920 x 1,080) display, a 7th generation Intel Core i5 or Core i7 processor, up to 512GB of SSD storage, and a rather unique keyboard that can be tilted for better typing ergonomics.
The ASUSPro B9440 will be available for purchase in the U.S. for US$999 (~S$1,446) beginning May 2017.
