First announced at CES 2025 as part of its hardware refresh for its gaming laptops, ROG has announced that the 2025 edition of the Flow Z13 will be available from 28 February.
If you're not familiar with ROG's line of gaming devices, the Flow Z13 is designed as a gaming tablet (or a laptop hybrid, whichever way you see it), and sees multiple design improvements to fit more power into a smaller chassis, including a unified quad-channel memory design (which should be useful given the total pool of 128GB onboard memory) and improved power-delivery components.
There's also a new vapour chamber design, which, built with both stainless steel as copper, ASUS says offers 54% more coverage of the mainboard compared to previous generations. The Flow Z13 also sports the same 2nd Gen Arc Flow Fans as the Zephyrus.
On the spec sheet, the Z13 appears to ditch NVIDIA's RTX 50 Series Laptop GPUs, instead adopting an integrated GPU that comes with the latest AMD Ryzen AI Max+ 395 CPU. In theory, the Ryzen RDNA 3.5 should afford the gaming tablet an equivalent gaming performance to an AMD Radeon 8060S.
As expected, there's a price to pay for cramping so much power into such a compact form factor. The ROG Flow Z13's SRP starts from $4,399, and will be available at the ROG Store, ASUS Online Store, and all authorised retailers.
