ASUS has rolled out the ExpertBook P5 (P5405) and like almost all contemporary laptops, is an AI-powered laptop aimed at professionals on the move. It's designed to be light, efficient, and equipped with features to boost everyday productivity.

At the core of the ExpertBook P5 is Intel's latest Core Ultra Series 2 processor, offering up to 47 Neural Processing Unit TOPS (on the Core Ultra 7 258V processor), which ASUS says delivers three times the AI performance of the previous model. This upgrade should make a noticeable difference for those using AI tools in their work, or for improving virtual meeting experiences.

ASUS includes its AI ExpertMeet feature, which focuses on making virtual meetings more effective. With AI-enhanced audio and video, it aims to make online meetings smoother and clearer. The ExpertBook P5 weighs just 1.27kg, with a slim aluminium build that makes it easy to carry around. The 2.5K display and 144Hz refresh rate ensure visuals are sharp, crisp and fluid too.

Security is a priority as well, with features designed to protect sensitive data – which is critical for many professionals in the banking or other sensitive sectors.

The ASUS Expertbook P5 (P5405) will be available starting from today from $1,999 at the ASUS Exclusive Store, ASUS Online Store, and all authorized retailers.
