Besides releasing new versions of Final Cut Pro for the Mac and iPad, Apple also updated the Logic Pro suite for the two products.
The main highlight of the new Logic Pro is the Quantec Room Simulator plug-in, which is built using the original schematics, algorithms, and code from Quantec founder and inventor Wolfgang Buchleitner.
Users can add natural acoustic space to music while maintaining the sonic character, or the modern Quantec Yardstick for enhanced clarity and detail.
The new Logic Pro also comes with Reorder Mixer Channels for users to rearrange channel strips by dragging them. In addition, multiple channel strips can be selected to be reordered collectively.
For Mac users, there is a new keyboard command (Search and Add Plug-in) to find and add any plug-in by category and company name. For iPad users, the Sample Folders feature offers them access to their personal collection of samples from the built-in Sound Browser on the tablet, external storage, and iCloud Drive.
