Apple's second fall event is official; it has sent out media invites for an event on 30 October at the Howard Gilman Opera House in New York. The event has a tagline, "There's more in the making".
The 30 October event is likely to see Apple unveil new iPad Pros and Mac devices. Five new iPad and Mac models have been registered in the Eurasian database since July.
We are expecting to see two new iPad Pro devices with edge-to-edge displays, Face ID, USB Type-C ports, new Smart Connectors, iPhone-style antenna lines and flat sides. Apple may also unveil a new Apple Pencil at the event and bundle a 18W USB C charger alongside the new tablets.
Significant updates to the Mac lineup are also rumored. Bloomberg reported that a new, low-cost MacBook with a similar design as the current MacBook Air, thinner bezels and higher-resolution "Retina" 13-inch display will be released. In addition, the Mac Mini lineup will be updated for the first time in four years.
