AMD's Ryzen 4000-series mobile processors have been gaining momentum among PC makers lately, and Singapore-based Aftershock are now the latest company to follow suit. That's not too surprising, as our benchmarks of a gaming notebook powered by a Ryzen 9 4900HS (you can read about it here) have shown some pretty good performance and battery life results.

Aftershocks's new APEX 15R Lite notebook features the Ryzen 7 4800H mobile processor with graphics powered by NVIDIA's GeForce RTX 2060. The 15.6-inch notebook is geared towards content creators and, of course, gamers, and one of the highlight is how incredibly lightweight the APEX 15R Lite is. Thanks to the full aluminium alloy chassis built, the notebook weigh in only at an incredible 1.93kg.

The rest of the specifications is quite impressive too; apart from Wi-Fi 6 and the new THX Spatial Audio, which comes by default, Aftershock's tradition of offering customising options means you also get to choose up to 32GB of DDR4 3200Mhz memory and up to 4TB SSD storage. Even the exterior of the APEX 15R Lite can be customised with a selection of automobile paints and vinyl car wraps to add your own personal touch - for a price, of course.

The Aftershock APEX 15R Lite starts at S$1,715 and can be customised at www.aftershockpc.com.
