Huawei held their APAC Smart Office 2022 event in Bangkok where they showcased some of the new office solutions we could expect to see in Singapore soon.
One of the Guests of Honour was Professor Jimmy Choo who shared how he shares between different Huawei devices, like his smartphone and notebook, to aid him in his fashion creation. He said he was able to shoot a picture and choose the true-to-life colour in the image to use as a colour in his work drawings.
The Huawei MateBook X Pro is their flagship notebook and is designed for creators. It also features Huawei's SuperTurbo and Super Device technologies.
Like most modern notebooks, it only has USB-C ports. Here we can see the only other concession, the audio jack.
Weighing 1.26kg, the MateBook X Pro comes with a 14.2-inch display with a 3,120 x 2,080 resolution, and 90Hz refresh rate. It is also certified for Intel Evo criteria and comes powered by Intel 12th Gen Core processors, but only has Intel Iris Xe graphics.
Huawei calls their new MatePad Pro 11 “the lightest and thinnest 11-inch premium tablet of their brand”.
The new Huawei M-Pencil (2nd generation) now comes in white, but I wish it had somewhere to be stored within the case rather than on the top of the tablet.
The keyboard and kickstand are actually two separate covers. Here you can also see two of the six speakers that give what Huawei calls a “first on a tablet” with its instant cinematic immersion.
I like that the Huawei MateBook 16s comes with an HDMI port, 16-inch display, and a nice 3:2 aspect ratio.
The 2-in-1 Fingerprint Power Button provides one-touch power-on and fast log-in. One addional new feature is the 1080p AI camera with AI sound, which helps enable crystal clear video calls.
