Qualcomm rumoured to launch Snapdragon 8 Gen 1+ in May

Qualcomm may announce an updated Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 mobile platform earlier than expected.
Tipster @heyitsyogesh shared on Twitter that Qualcomm will unveil the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1+ (SM8475) in early May. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 1+ mobile platform is said to be based on TSMC's 4nm process, and will shift future orders to TSMC as it is more efficient and stable than Samsung's 4nm process.
The tipster added that Qualcomm will announce other mobile platforms for the mid and upper mid-range segments. Flagship phones powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 1+ could hit the market as early as June.
