New 3DMark Trailer Teases DirectX 11 Graphics Test Scene

Futuremark has released its first trailer for the next version of 3DMark, the world's first graphics benchmark allowing testing of DX9, DX10, and DX11 capable hardware through the DX11 API.

First showcased at Computex earlier this month, 3DMark is designed to measure the gaming performance of tablets, notebooks, and high-end desktop gaming systems.

The new 3DMark for Windows will be the world's first graphics benchmark allowing testing of DX9, DX10, and DX11 capable hardware through the DX11 API. It is expected to be released after the launch of Windows 8, and will be compatible with Windows 7 and Vista. Here's the new trailer which offers a preview of the DX11 test:-
