Despite a string of not-so-flattering news, Intel is not slowing down its product releases – starting with the launch of the Intel Xeon W-3500 and W-2500 series of workstation processors.

These processors are designed for professional creators, researchers, engineers, and software developers, and Intel says will “deliver unparalleled compute power and reliability, enabling innovators to push boundaries and achieve new milestones”.

Leading the Xeon W-3500 series is the flagship Xeon W9-3595X processor, which comes with 60 P-Cores and 120 threads. On the other hand, the W-2500 series offers up to 26 P-core and 52 threads. Intel claims that W-3500 delivers up to 10% higher multithreaded performance when compared to the last-gen W-3400.

These workstation processors are also specifically engineered to handle the growing demands of AI and machine learning, with features like 3rd Generation Intel Deep Learning Boost for up to 26% faster performance in critical workloads.

The Intel W-3500 and W-2500 workstation processors are available now through Intel partners including HP, Dell and Lenovo. Price ranges from US$609 to US$5,889, while full system availability begins in September
