Come 2017, G.Skill will introduce its new RGB-illuminated DDR4 RAM sticks – the Trident Z RGB. These memory sticks offer a full-length illuminative bar with RGB colors, coupled with the Trident Z’s heat spreader design. It is scheduled for a mid-January 2017 release, with pricing yet to be announced.

By default, the G.Skill Trident Z RGB DDR4 RAM is capable of displaying RGB colors in a wave-style lighting effect. More lighting effects and color customizations will be made available through their proprietary software, which is slated for a February 2017 release.

Of course, G.Skill reassures us how it isn’t just about looking pretty – these RAM sticks are designed with a custom 10-layer PCB and hand-picked IC chips for overclocking purposes, making the Trident Z RGB capable of reaching speeds of DDR4-4,266MHz. Adding on to their performance is a limited lifetime warranty, with easy BIOS setup through its XMP 2.0 support.
