Gigabytehas officially announced the launch of its NVIDIA GeForce RTX 50 Series graphics card at CES 2025. The cards, powered by NVIDIA’s Blackwell architecture include the RTX 5090, RTX 5080, RTX 5070 Ti, and RTX 5070 models.

According to the company, their new models are developed under the “Evolution of Ten” concept, achieving up to a 10% improvement in thermal performance while reducing card volume by 10% compared to earlier models, such as those from the GeForce RTX 40 Series lineup.

Gigabyte has upgraded its cooling solutions to match the high-performance demands of the RTX 50 Series GPUs. The Aorus Xtreme Waterforce cooling model features liquid metal thermal grease, which they claim, offers up to 10 times the heat transfer coefficient of traditional methods. On the other hand, the Waterforce WB model is designed for custom water loop setups. Both solutions provide efficient heat dissipation and silent operation for intensive workloads.

For air-cooled variants, Gigabyte has enhanced the Windforce cooling solution with the new Hawk Fan design, which reduces turbulence and noise while increasing airflow by 12.5%. According to the company, this should deliver up to 53.6% improvement in air pressure, ensuring effective thermal performance during gaming or heavy GPU usage.

Their premium Aorus Master variant introduces Screen Cooling Plus technology. It essentially incorporates an additional air-boosting fan working in conjunction with the primary cooling setup to provide extra airflow and dissipate heat away from core components. Finally, their RTX 5090 Master model incorporates superconducting heat pipes that should help spread the heat more evenly across the card.
