Enermax Launches Five New Cooling Fan Models

Enermax has just announced five new cooling fan models that feature its patented APS (Adjustable Peak Speed) control technology. This innovation will allow manual speed control of a fan's peak speed and the speed will be regulated by pulse-width modulation or by an integrated thermal sensor.

While PWM cooling fans with built-in sensors aren't new, Enermax's introduction of a physical switch to toggle the peak rotation speed of the cooling fan without users having to access the BIOS or their system fan control software. The APS feature has been introduced to its updated Twister Advance series that consists of the Cluster Advance, Everest Advance and the Magma Advance series. As an example, the Cluster Advance 120mm (12cm) cooling fan operates within the ranges of 500- to 1200RPM (revolutions per minute), 500- to 1500RPM or 500- to 1800 RPM.

The two new additional series of TB Vegas Quad and TB Vegas also feature APS, in addition to their LED lighting and carved Halo fan frames. Another useful feature is the detachable fan blades that allows for easy cleaning. All five fan series feature the Twister Bearing, which is a magnetic bearing technology touted to prevent abrasion in order to prolong the operation lifespan of the cooling fan.
