The Cooler Master MasterBox Lite 3 is an affordable and fairly spacious mATX case

Cooler Master has announced the MasterBox Lite 3, a new micro-ATX case that offers a no-nonsense approach to system building. That said, it still supports full-sized graphics cards, a liquid cooling radiator, and up to four SSDs.

Cooler Master has announced the MasterBox Lite 3, a new micro-ATX case that offers a no-nonsense approach to system building. This is reflected in its price – at just S$69 for the windowed version (or S$65 for the solid panel model), this is a case focused solely on delivering the essentials.

While Cooler Master has been having a field day with modular cases lately, the MasterBox Lite 3 keeps things simple with a straightforward layout that can still accommodate graphics cards up to 345mm long, liquid cooling, and up to four SSDs.

This is possible thanks to certain tweaks to the traditional mounting scheme. For one, the power supply unit is intended to be mounted at the top of the chassis, leaving more room for the graphics card at the bottom. There is also an absence of an entire row of front-mounted drive bays, which translates into more space for longer graphics cards and better air flow.

The drive bays are concentrated at the top of the case where the 5.25-inch ODD bays are usually located. Here, you’ll find space for a combination of SSD, HDD, and ODD installations, a sign of the flexibility the MasterBox Lite 3 offers.

The case ships with a single 120mm fan pre-installed in the rear, with additional space for two 120mm fans, or a 240mm radiator, up front.

Finally, the MasterBox Lite 3 boasts a magnetic front dust filter that can be easily removed without tools.

The mATX case is now available to buy locally.
