Featuring three 92mm fans with a maximum cooling capacity up to 300W, the Accelero Xtreme III comes with 84-fin heatsink with 5 copper heatpipes. Its fans are PWM-controlled, which means that the fans spin according to the temperature of the GPU. On top of that, users can modify the PWM settings to prioritize between performance and noise.

The pre-applied MX-4 thermal compound speeds up the heat dissipation process to make sure the VGA card runs under optimal temperature. Besides being CrossFire and SLI compatible, the Accelero Xtreme III also includes an interchangeable mounting mechanism to fit different models.

As a caveat to buyers, this customized cooler will only fit certain graphics cards. Hence, a visit to Arctic's official product page for the list of compatible graphics cards is important prior to the cooler's purchase. For now, Arctic mentions this cooler's compatibility with the new GeForce GTX 680. The Accelero Xtreme III VGA cooler will be available on 21 May and its estimated retail price is US$119.95.
