AMD’s Radeon RX Vega GPUs finally support multi-GPU configurations with a driver update

AMD's new Radeon Software Crimson ReLive Edition 17.9.2 driver adds support for up to two Radeon RX Vega GPUs in a multi-GPU configuration.

This is one driver update you should definitely pay attention to. AMD has just released its new Radeon Software Crimson ReLive Edition 17.9.2 driver, and it finally adds support for up to two Radeon RX Vega GPUs in a multi-GPU configuration.

The Radeon RX Vega 64 was AMD’s re-entry into the high-end GPU market after a long time away, so enthusiasts will definitely appreciate being able to run two of these together now.

The update also fixes a couple of issues:

  • Hearts of Iron IV may experience a system hang when the campaign scenario is launched.
  • Radeon Software may display an erroneous "1603 Error" after installing Radeon Software. This error will not affect your Radeon Software installation.
