AMD Readies Two High-End Bulldozer Chipsets for 2012, the 1090FX and 1070
According to a leaked slide from DonanimHaber, AMD is preparing to launch two next-generation Bulldozer chipsets in 2012; they are the 1090FX and 1070.
AMD is planning to launch the 1090FX and 1070, two new Bulldozer chipsets, in 2012. For that year, chipsets from AMD will be led by the 10-series family and will be compatible with the current FX processors as well as the AM3+ CPUs.

According to techPowerUp, the 10-series chipset will do away with the SB850 southbridge component on the 900-series line and rely on a new SB1060 southbridge that serves up to eight SATA 6Gbps ports.
The top-of-the-line family member is the 1090FX and it features native USB 3.0 support; and it has enough PCIe lanes to support a dual x16 configuration. These high-end features do not find their way to the 1070 chipset. There is also no native support for PCIe Gen 3. According to industry sources techPowerUp spoke to, native chipset support for PCIe Gen 3 is unlikely until Piledriver processors are commercially available. According to xElectrified!, the Piledriver processors are codenamed "Komodo" and are part of the "Corona" platform which is the successor to AMD's current "Scorpius" gaming platfrom. There is no official word from AMD on the exact release date of the 10-series chipset.
