Razer announces Fortnite gaming peripherals in collaboration with Epic Games

Fortnite gamers on PC now have another reason to pick up a Razer peripheral, with the announcement of a collaboration between the gaming hardware maker and Epic Games, the company behind the popular battle royale game. 

The four products in the Razer | Fortnite collection are special editions of existing Razer hardware, with designs inspired by the game's Battle Bus and Supply Llama.

For the uninitiated, the Battle Bus is the flying vehicle that transports players into the arena, while the Supply Llama is a loot box that can be found in-game.

In addition, these yellow-and-blue gaming peripherals also come with a Fortnite in-game cosmetic, which can be redeemed using a code included with the product. The collection consists of a mouse, mechanical keyboard, headset, and mouse pad.

• Razer DeathAdder V3 Pro - Fortnite Edition (S$259) — Announced in 2022, the DeathAdder V3 Pro is the highest-end model in the DeathAdder series. The regular version of this ultra-light wireless mouse goes for S$229, so you will pay S$30 more for the Fortnite Edition. This does net you the Cliffhanger in-game Pickaxe cosmetic.
  
   
• Razer BlackWidow V4 X - Fortnite Edition (S$259) — This full-sized RGB mechanical keyboard comes with the company's linear yellow switches. The $209 price tag for the regular black version is already pretty high for a wired keyboard, and you have to add another $50 to that for the Fortnite Edition, which also comes with the in-game cosmetic Demon Skull Pickaxe. But perhaps the most interesting gift with this product is a special Supply Llama keycap. This keycap, more than twice the height of a regular keycap, is completely impractical. So while you should never use it on your WASD keys, it's a cool accessory that could look nice on one of the F1 - F12 keys.
  
   
• Razer Goliathus Extended Chroma - Fortnite Edition (S$159) — A large, soft, gaming mouse mat with LED lighting. It comes with the Dauntless Dragon in-game Glider.
  
   
• Razer Kraken V3 X - Fortnite Edition (S$159) — A wired USB gaming headset. This comes with the Raptor in-game Glider.
