LG is bringing two Thunderbolt 3 monitors to CES 2018
And one of them is a 5K monitor.

Besides Samsung, LG is also wheeling out new monitors at CES 2018. And spearheading the new lineup is the 32UK950, a 32-inch 4K LCD monitor that uses the company’s Nano IPS technology.
Much like LG’s Nano Cell tech on its Super UHD TVs, the Nano IPS tech for the monitors uses “nanometer-sized” particles to absorb unwanted light wavelengths. This makes for purer colors, which is why LG is touting a 98% DCI-P3 coverage for the 32UK950. While there’s no mention if this monitor is DisplayHDR-certified, LG does say the monitor has a peak brightness of 600cd/m2 to support HDR.
The 32UK950 also supports Thunderbolt 3, which means there’s enough bandwidth if you wish to daisy-chain two external 4K displays. Up to 60W of power can also flow through the single Thunderbolt 3, so you don’t need a separate adapter or cable for charging the connected notebook.
34WK95U & 34GK950G
Also going to be present at CES 2018 are the 34WK95U and 34GK950G, the former a 34-inch, ultra-wide (21:9) 5K monitor (5,120 x 2,160 pixels) and the latter a QHD gaming monitor that supports NVIDIA’s G-Sync tech. Like the 32UK950, both feature the Nano IPS tech for richer colors.
The 34WK95U in particular should please many pro users. In addition to its 5K resolution, it too supports Thunderbolt 3, so if you've a, say, late-2016 or later MacBook Pro, you can drive the monitor at 5K resolution at 60Hz.
