New HP Color LaserJet Pro 3000 series brings vivid and fast colour printing to SMBs.

At HP Amplify Partner Conference 2024, HP announced the new HP Color LaserJet 3000 series. This latest addition to its print portfolio is designed for customers that require high performance in a small footprint, and is powered by HP’s energy efficient TerraJet toner technology, enabling sharper colours and fast print speeds for growing businesses
According to HP, Terrajet as HP’s next generation toner technology, has a special toner formula that enables richer and sharper colours. HP says that Terrajet technology will provide the new Color LaserJet Pro 3000 series customers with 11% more vivid colours and 18% faster printing speeds.
TerraJet cartridges reduce the use of new plastic during the manufacturing process. By designing smaller, more ergonomic cartridges and using recycled material, TerraJet cartridges use an average of up to 28% less new plastics. Plus, these cartridges are filled with specially formulated toner with a low melting point, so that they use between 17% and 27% less energy to get the ink warm enough to print. TerraJet toner cartridges are 25% faster when printing compared to the previous generation.
The new HP Color LaserJet Pro 3000 series has four different models in the series. The difference between them is the functionality with the LaserJet Pro 3201dw Printer the most basic with the device only able to do printing, up to the LaserJet Pro 3301cdw that is able to do two-sided printing, scanning, copying, and faxing.

AI Included
HP also demonstrated how AI could make printing easier. After selecting to print a recipe from a website, the usual method would result in a copy of the web page being printed, ads, banners, and all. But the user entered “print just the ingredients and recipe” into the commands, the new AI print solution was able to strip just the ingredients and recipe from the pages and just print those. This resulted in only one page being printed, rather than four pages originally.
