Dell brings 5K UltraSharp monitors to CES 2024
With a 5K display, 120Hz refresh rate, and an ambient light sensor to automatically adjust screen brightness and colour temperature, Dell's new 5K monitor has achieved TUV Rheinland® five-star eye comfort certification.

At CES 2024 Dell has announced the launch of a 40-inch 5K monitor, the Dell UltraSharp 40 Curved Thunderbolt Hub Monitor (U4025QW). This is targeted towards content creators, data scientists, engineers, or someone who needs outstanding clarity and colour.
With 5K resolution (5120 x 2160 pixels), up to 120Hz refresh rate, ultrawide curved VESA Display, HDR 600 certified monitor, comes with IPS Black Panel technology and a 99% DCI-P3 / Display P3 colour space for greater colour contrast and TUV Rheinland five-star eye comfort certification to help reduce signs of eye fatigue. It does this with a built-in ambient light sensor that automatically adjusts screen brightness and colour temperature according to ambient light conditions.

As a Thunderbolt Hub, the U4025QW comes with Thunderbolt 4 for single-cable convenience with up to 140W power delivery. It also supports high-speed wired Ethernet connectivity at 2.5 Gbps via RJ45, along with HDMI 2.1 FRL (Fixed Rate Link) and DisplayPort 2.1 for smooth image transmission.

Dell also announced a smaller-sized display, the Dell UltraSharp 34 Curved Thunderbolt Hub Monitor (U3425WE) which will be available with a WQHD resolution (2560x1440).
It offers many of the same features as its bigger brother, such as TUV Rheinland five-star eye comfort certification, IPS Black technology, and Thunderbolt 4 connectivity (although this time only up to 90W power delivery).
Both the U4025QW and U3425WE monitors are made from 85% post-consumer recycled (PCR) plastic and 100% recycled aluminium. The packaging for both is made from 100% recycled and/or renewable content.
Pricing and availability
Dell says that the UltraSharp 40 Curved Thunderbolt Hub Monitor (U4025QW) and Ultrasharp 34 Curved Thunderbolt Hub Monitor (U3425WE) will both be available on dell.com.sg as well as at Dell exclusive stores in Singapore. We will update this article with pricing information when we receive it.
