Canon has announced five new imageCLASS monochrome laser multi-function printers. The imageCLASS MF215 and MF217w are both capable of print, copy, scan and fax, making them ideal for businesses that still require printers with fax capabilities. They also come with LAN support and built-in wireless connectivity, so multiple users can operate the printer via wireless connection, which can be set up easily via the WPS (Wi-Fi Protected Set-up) Push button mode.
Users can use the Canon Mobile Printing application, Apple AirPrint, or Mopria to print wirelessly from their mobile devices. They can also scan documents directly onto their mobile device via the Canon Mobile Scanning application. The imageCLASS MF215 and MF217w also feature automatic document feeders (ADF), which can hold up to 35 sheets of paper, so you can scan and copy multi-page documents without having to be by the printer. Both printers have print speeds of 23 pages per minute (ppm).
The other three models (imageCLASS MF211, MF212w and MF221d) are all 3-in-1 models with print, copy and scan functions. All five printers have a paper capacity of 250 sheets, so users do not need to refill the paper tray frequently.
The new imageCLASS multi-function printers can be found at Canon authorised dealers at the following prices:
Model number | Price |
imageCLASS MF211 | $179 |
imageCLASS MF212w | $199 |
imageCLASS MF221d | $199 |
imageCLASS MF215 | $279 |
