Apple rumoured to be testing external display with A13 chip and Neural Engine

The external display with A13 chipset and Neural Engine is said to replace the current Pro Display XDR in the future.

Apple is rumoured to be testing a new external display.

Sources told 9to5Mac that Apple is testing an external display with the internal codename J327. The sources say that the external display will come with a dedicated A13 chipset and Neural Engine to deliver high-resolution graphics and manage machine learning tasks. In addition, it is said to be replacing the Pro Display XDR in the future.

Bloomberg reported earlier this year that Apple is working on a more affordable external display. Unlike the external display with A13 chipset and Neural Engine, the more affordable external display is expected to be sold alongside the Pro Display XDR.
