Aftershock has always been known for providing great bang for your buck. It’s brought that approach to its PRISM+ monitors, and the new F270 Pro is no different. It features a crisp 2,560 x 1,440-pixel resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate, but it’ll cost you just S$399, a pretty attractive price.
The PRISM+ F270 Pro can be thought of as an upgraded version of the older F270, which had a lower 1,920 x 1,080-pixel resolution. Both of them are 27-inch displays, so the F270 Pro will offer crisper and sharper pictures.
For the price, you’ll have to settle for a TN display however, so this is a monitor targeted at gamers who prize response times above image quality. The panel has a speedy 1ms response time, so you shouldn’t have problems with motion blur.
The panel is also framed by super slim bezels on three sides, so this is a suitable monitor for a multi-display setup if you’re so inclined.
However, the display stand only supports tilt adjustments, and you won’t be able to adjust for height or pivot it from left to right, so that’s something to take note of.
The F270 Pro is available to buy now at SITEX 2018.
