Xiaomi's newly announced Watch S4 combines some great specs on paper with the unique customisability of being able to swap out straps and even the bezel.

The Xiaomi Watch S4 is encased in an aluminium alloy body and weighs 44.5g without the watch strap, thanks to the slightly heavier stainless steel bezel.
With a 1.43-inch AMOLED display, the watch supports over 150 sports modes while offering health monitoring features like heart rate tracking, blood oxygen levels, and stress tracking.

There is an eSIM model which allows for users to make calls without a phone nearby, and there's a dual-mode walkie-talkie function which could certainly be useful during outdoor activities. It comes with 5 ATM water resistance, and Xiaomi claims up to 15 days battery life, although that's limited to 5 days when the always-on display is in use.
The Xiaomi Watch S4 starts at CNY 999 (~S$185.58), with the Xiaomi Watch S4 Bezel and Strap Kit priced from CNY 149 (~S$27.68).

If you don't need all those fancy features and just want a fitness tracker, the Xiaomi Smart Band 9 Pro might be a better choice.
With a large 1.74-inch AMOLED display, the Smart Band 9 Pro is a smart band that eschews features like eSIM support in favour of a lighter watch and longer battery life.
This fitness tracker can last up to 21 days on a single charge or up to 10 days if the always-on display is activated. Over 150 sports modes are supported, and there's 5 ATM water resistance in addition to a dedicated swimming mode that recognises the swimmer's stroke and can count laps in an indoor pool.
Health tracking features like heart rate, blood oxygen, and sleep analysis are also available. The sleep tracking feature was developed in collaboration with three major medical institutions.
The Xiaomi Smart Band 9 Pro retails from CNY 399 (~S$74.12).
