Xiaomi recently unveiled its fourth generation fitness tracker, the Mi Band 4.
The Mi Band 4 comes with a 0.95-inch color AMOLED display (120 x 240 pixels), which is a modest upgrade from the 0.78-inch OLED display (80 x 128 pixels) of the Mi Band 3. Like its predecessor, the display is touch-screen and has 77 different faces to choose from.
It comes with the standard suite of features such as a built-in microphone for voice commands, a 6-axis accelerometer, exercise modes, waterproof rating up to 5 ATM, ability to identify different swimming strokes, notifications and music control. Xiaomi claims that the Mi Band 4 can last up to 20 days on a single charge with its 135mAh battery.
There are two versions of the Mi Band 4: a standard model and one with built-in NFC which can support contactless payment. The standard edition is priced at 169 yuan (~S$35) while the NFC variant costs 229 yuan (~S$45). Both models will go on sale in China from 16 June.
