A year after launching it for crowdfunding, the Sony Reon Pocket is finally available for purchase in Japan.

Available on Sony's online store for 13,000 yen (~S$168), the Reon Pocket is a portable air-conditioner that fits into the back pocket of a specially designed t-shirt. The t-shirt comes in three sizes (S/M/L) and two colour options (white and beige) at a price of 1,800 yen (~S$23).

There is a companion mobile app that can be used to manually adjust the temperature up by 8°C or down by 13°C. Alternatively, it can be set to automatic mode where the temperature and motion sensors will determine what the user is doing and adjust the cooling mode to ensure an optimal comfort level.
